Rotary Meeting on April 21st 2011
We had great news from Rotarian Bob Wilson. He announced that next week, astronaut Nicole Stott will be our special guest speaker in celebration of NASA Appreciation Day. She will also be speaking to the students at Tarpon Springs High School beforehand.
Our speaker today was Owner/Brew Master Bob Sylvester who spoke about the Saint Somewhere Brewing Company. He gave us a short history of beer in the United States and the story of how Saint Somewhere Brewing Company was started. This Tarpon Springs Brewery has been featured in several publications and TV programs, including Food Network Magazine and NBC’s TODAY Show.
